LENT & EASTER WORSHIP SERVICES
Palm Sunday, March 29, 10:30 am English Service (Sanctuary). The English worship service will begin in the Fireside Lounge. There will be a brief reading and prayer before we all join the Palm Sunday processional as we enter the sanctuary waving palms and singing hosannas to the King.

Good Friday City-Wide Morning Services, April 3: 9 am & 11 am. Worship & Communion Service located at North Douglas Pentecostal Church (675 Jolly Place). A free will offering will be received.
Good Friday Service, April 3, 6:00 pm Tenebrae Service at Emmanuel (Sanctuary). Join us for a somber night of remembering our Lord’s death in our Good Friday Tenebrae service. Tenebrae is the Latin word for shadows. This service follows the gospel reading of our Lord’s Passion, beginning with the anointing at Bethany through his death and burial. After each reading, one candle is extinguished until we are left in silence and darkness as we remember our Lord’s burial. Prayers, songs, and poems will also be part of this experience.
Easter Sunday Sunrise Celebration at Mt. Tolmie: April 5 meet at Emmanuel 6:10 am. The church bus leaves at 6:15 am with Celebration starting at 6:30 am for sunrise at 6:42 am. All welcome to join the youth for an Easter Sunrise Celebration with songs, Scriptures, and prayer. Please dress for the weather!Â
Easter Sunday Pancake Breakfast SERVE FUNDRAISER, April 5, 9:00 – 10:15 am (Gym). All proceeds go to the annual SERVE Youth Conference in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, July 5-11. Come SUPPORT EMMANUEL’S YOUTH by donating generously for your breakfast. Please bring cash to donate for breakfast. Menu: pancakes (limited amount of GF pancakes), sausage, fruit, coffee and tea.

Reminder to bring flowers from home to flower the cross during Easter Sunday worship service. Immediately following service, coffee and tea will be served in the gym.
